White Tea
Although it appears this White Tea is fairly new to the mainstream America, it is well liked and enjoyable to drink in China since the Ming Dynasty. The leaves of this White Tea come from a special varietal of tea bushes and are not processed, but dried and withered in the sun. Also since the tea leaves have not yet been processed and they are still very much in their natural state, they by far cary more powerful antioxidants than any other tea!
Also, these tea farmers when selecting the fresh and delicate leaves by hand, they only choose "two leaves and a bud" with the ideal situation being two leaves wrapped around a newly developing shoot. Here at My Shop Coffee, you will find White Teas to have a sweet flavor and silky texture.
My Shop Coffee, suggest if you want to make a exceptional cup of White Tea, start with two teaspoons of loose-leaf tea per 8oz. of fresh water. Bring water to a boil, remove from heat and wait one minute before adding the leaves to steep. Then, steep for 5-8 minutes.
